Telangana High Court Orders Testing All Dead Bodies For Coronavirus

Telangana High Court Orders Testing All Dead Bodies For Coronavirus:- The Telangana High Court asked the government of the state to conduct tests on all the dead bodies for coronavirus before they are released from the hospitals. This is to provide data on the tests that are conducted on returning guest workers. Saying that the human life is the most important for good governance, the High Court slammed the state government for the financial constraints. The court said that the state has no discretionary power to form its own opinion in conducting coronavirus tests by putting the health of the people at stake. The Telangana High Court asked the state government to come up with the data of the number of the guest workers who returned back to Telangana and about the number of tests that are conducted along with the test reports.

The Telangana High Court also asked the government to present a report on the red, orange and green zones that are changed automatically. The court asked the Collectors to furnish the reports. Five PILs have been filed in the court saying that the government was not conducting an adequate number of tests. The court asked the government not to relax and conduct the maximum number of tests to strengthen ourselves. Telangana Chief Minister KCR will meet the state's cabinet to make crucial decisions on the extension of lockdown and imposing new guidelines.
