High Court Slams Telangana Govt On Coronavirus Tests

High Court Slams Telangana Govt On Coronavirus Tests:- The Telangana High Court asked the government of Telangana to submit a detailed report on the number of coronavirus tests done along with the number of cases and the deaths registered in the state. It also asked the government to increase the number of tests. The High Court Thursday asked the state government to consider rapid antigent tests which are recommended by the ICMR. The High Court asked the government to publish the data. The wardwise information from GHMC has been asked to be presented by the High Court.

A division bench comprising of Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan and B Vijaysen Reddy asked the Telangana government to involve the welfare associations to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Hyderabad limits as the cases are increasing. Eight PILs have been filed in the Telangana High Court to provide sufficient quality protective gear to all the medical teams. The High Court also asked the government to conduct more tests for all those who have come in contact with the positive patients. Earlier, the High Court asked the government to increase the number of tests in the state.
