WHO Predicts 1 Crore Coronavirus Cases By Next Week:- The World Health Organization (WHO) says that the number of coronavirus cases globally will reach one crore in a week. Tedros Adhanom said that the virus is spreading fastly in all the countries. India recorded 15,968 new cases of coronavirus yesterday and 465 people passed away across the country. The total tally of coronavirus in the country is now 4,56,183. As many as 14,476 people passed away due to coronavirus in India. Maharashtra, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh are the states with the most number of cases in the country.

The recovery rate in the country is said to be 56.71%. Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that 73,52,911 samples have been tested till June 23rd in the country. Yesterday, 248 people passed away in Maharashtra, 68 in New Delhi, 39 in Tamil Nadu and 26 in Gujarat. Maharashtra is leading the list with 6,531 deaths till date and 2301 people died in New Delhi. Maharashtra even reported the highest number of cases and they stand at 1,39,010. Delhi stands second with 66,602 cases. West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee said that the state will be in complete lockdown till July 31st. With the number of cases increasing, the government of West Bengal took the move.
