Twitter Accounts Of Prominent Figures Hacked:- The Twitter accounts of several famous personalities and public figures got hacked on Wednesday. The famous personalities include Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos and Apple. Twitter soon reverted back before there could be a huge damage. Twitter told that they were not aware of the security incident and they are taking the steps to fix such issues. Twitter could stop it by preventing the verified accounts from tweeting to the public. Most of the accounts were restored by Wednesday evening. Twitter said that they are working hard to bring things back to normal at the earliest.

Each hacked account had millions of followers and there were some of the tweets about a bitcoin scam. The tweets were aimed about receiving double the money in return. Kanye West, Michael Bloomberg, Uber, and a number of cryptocurrency exchanges twitter handles too have been hacked. 90 minutes after the scam messages began, Twitter issued a statement about the attacks. Twitter warned the users that they would be unable to tweet or change their passwords as there are issues. The stock price of twitter tumbled by 3% after the trading hours. Twitter said that the hack was not to target the celebrities but it was about the spread of the bitcoin scam.
