Supreme Court Has A Shock For AP Government

Supreme Court Has A Shock For AP Government:- Andhra Pradesh State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar was sacked by the government of Andhra Pradesh after he postponed the local body polls. The government of Andhra Pradesh replaced him. Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar approached the AP High Court which asked the AP Government to reappoint Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar as the State Election Commissioner. The AP Government knocked the doors of the Supreme Court. For the fourth time in a month, the Supreme Court slammed the government of Andhra Pradesh. The top court asked the AP Government to reinstate the order issued by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and reappoint Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar as the State Election Commissioner.

The Supreme Court issued a deadline to complete the process before July 31st and follow the order issued by the High Court. This is a tight slap for AP Government that has been skeptical and against the orders that are issued by the top courts. Before this, Andhra Pradesh Governor Bishwabhushan Harichandan asked the government to reappoint Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar as the State Election Commissioner but the government was waiting for the decision in Supreme Court and did not respond. YSRCP MP Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju responded after the Supreme Court's decision was out. He asked the government to reappoint Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar at the earliest.
