AP Government Issues GO Over Financial Aid for the Kin of Coronavirus Victims:- The coronavirus pandemic is having a huge impact across the Telugu states. Andhra Pradesh is the third worst-hit state in the country after Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy decided to stand as financial support for the families of the coronavirus victims in the state. A Government Order (GO) was issued by the government of Andhra Pradesh and an amount of Rs 15,000 will be offered for the kin of the coronavirus victims for funeral expenses. Andhra Pradesh Special Principal Secretary for the Department of Health, Jawahar Reddy issued the GO. He even directed the Commissioner of Medical Health to release a fund of Rs 12 crores immediately so that they can be sent to the Collectors of all the districts.
The State Finance Ministry also issued the orders to release the funds on immediate effect. The District Collectors were also instructed to offer Rs 5000 for all those who donated plasma. YS Jagan asked all the officials to bring up the awareness for the same. He ordered the officials to grant Rs 5000 as an incentive for those who are donating plasma in these tough times. The total number of coronavirus cases stands at 1,66,586 as per yesterday's report. The spread of coronavirus is huge in the state and the government is taking all the measures to curb coronavirus.
