KTR Warns Private Hospitals On Charging Hefty Bills:- Telangana IT Minister KTR warned the private hospitals not to charge hefty bills from the patients during this coronavirus pandemic season. The state government already took action against such hospitals and canceled the licenses. KTR urged the people to visit government hospitals as they are providing better services than the private hospitals. KTR responded to the question and answers session on Sunday during which he made these statements. He said that the state government arranged 1200 testing centers in the state and on an average, the number of tests conducted in Telangana on regular basis is 25,000.

KTR also said that the number of tests would be increased very soon to 40,000 tests per day. The mortality rate of coronavirus in the state is just one percent. KTR said that Telangana has the highest recovery rate in the country which is 72%. KTR said that the people should recognize the services provided by the government hospitals. KTR said that some of them are denied treatment in the private hospitals but no one is denied in the government hospitals. He said that Intensive Care Units (ICUs) are introduced in several area hospitals and more than 40 free dialysis centres are set up. KTR said that the Health Department is quite efficient and is working round the clock for the health of the people. KTR also said the government also kept enough focus on plasma therapy.
