Oxford University And AstraZeneca Vaccine Producing Positive Results:- The coronavirus pandemic shattered the entire world and the economic growth dropped down badly. All the fields are incurring heavy losses and it takes years for the mankind to recover from this disaster. The entire world is waiting for the arrival of vaccines for coronavirus. As per the update, around 170 coronavirus vaccines are in the development phase in various countries of the globe as per the reports from the World Health Organization (WHO). Most of them are currently in the final stages of trials and some of them are in the testing phase. The update says that some of them will be available in the market by the end of this year.
The first one in the list is the vaccine that is jointly developed by the University of Oxford and AstraZeneca PLC. This vaccine joined hands with Serum Institute of India (SII) which happens to be the biggest manufacturer of vaccines in the world. China National Pharmaceutical Group Co or Sinopharm has a vaccine that is in the third phase of trials. CanSino Biologics from China is also in plans to start the testing soon. Several scientists said that the results are promising during the early phase but they fail during the final phase of testing. The AstraZeneca vaccine produced exceptional results till date.
The vaccine's third phase of the trial was given for 30,000 people in USA in August. Tests are conducted in India, UK, Brazil and South Africa. AstraZeneca is in plans to develop two billion doses of the vaccine by next year and one billion of the dose will be available this year.
