Coronavirus India Tally Stands at 56.46 Lakhs:- India is unstoppable in the spread of coronavirus and the new cases registered on regular basis are high and consistent. India stands next to USA in the tally of cases and is expected to top the list by October. A total number of 83,347 new cases are reported in the country in the past 24 hours taking the total tally of cases to 56,46,011. The total number of people that are cured or discharged are said to be 45,87, 614 and the total active cases in India are said to be 9,68,377. The death toll in the country is now at 90,020. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu continued to report huge number of cases on regular basis and the recovery rate climbed up to 81.125 percent.
The global tally of coronavirus cases stands at 3.14 crores and the total deaths in the world are said to be 9.68 lakhs. Telangana reported 2296 new cases in the state and the total number of cases are at 1.77 lakhs. 1062 people passed away in Telangana in total. Bharat Biotech is in plans to start the third phase of human trials in the country from October. The mortality rate in the country dropped to 1.59 percent as per the reports from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. There are 17.15 percent active cases in the country as per today. As per the reports from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of tests conducted in the country reached 6.5 crores and 12 lakh tests are conducted yesterday. India's economy is forecast to contract by 5.9 percent in 2020, the UN has said in a report.
