AP Government To Introduce 'Liquor Super Malls':- The government of Andhra Pradesh is occupied in a financial crisis and there has been a huge stress because of the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy promised that he would make AP a liquor-free state. Canceling all the wine marts, all the current wine shops are managed by the government of Andhra Pradesh. The number of shops in the state came down and the prices touched skies. As a result, the crucial excise revenue in the state came down with the introduction of the new brands. Boozers started exporting liquor from their neighboring states. With this, the cash transfer schemes that is introduced by YS Jagan are badly hit and impacted.

Despite of arranging check posts at the borders, the smuggling of liquor into AP continues. This turned out to be a huge loss for the revenue of Andhra Pradesh. The government of Andhra Pradesh came up with an idea of 'Liquor Super Malls'. All these malls will be introduced in the major towns and cities and the government is in plans to introduce 100 malls in Andhra Pradesh. All the popular and imported liquor brands would be available in these liquor malls so as to prevent the smuggling of liquor. These popular brands will not be available in the government-run liquor shops. The government granted permission for the same and the Liquor Super Malls will be made available for the public very soon.
