Heavy Rains Lash Hyderabad And Telangana:- There has been heavy downpour in Hyderabad and the neighboring regions of the capital. Telangana Chief Minister KCR instructed the officials to be alert and the rains are expected to continue for one more day. This is because of the depression formed in the Bay of Bengal. Though rain alert was issued for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana capital Hyderabad received heavy rainfall. There is huge waterlogging in the city all over and the traffic got disrupted. There is lot of flooding in the low lying regions of the city. The rescue teams are out on the roads and are carrying the rescue operations.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy rain is expected in the Telangana districts of Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal, Mancherial, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Nizamabad, Sircilla, Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Karimnagar, Warangal Urban, Warangal Rural, Mahabubabad, Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda and Suryapet. Several trees got uprooted and there is huge clogging or drains in Hyderabad. The cops warned the commuters to be cautious and careful while traveling. The Central Water Commission issued an advisory to Narayanpur, Jurala, Srisailam, Musi dams in the Krishna river basin. Heavy inflows are expected and the officials are in plans for necessary depletion to be done.
