KTR Inspects Rain-affected Regions for the Fourth Day:- The recent downpour of rains created a havoc in and around Hyderabad. All the low-lying regions are flooded leaving the properties badly damaged. Some of the regions are left without electricity for three complete days. Telangana Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao has been visiting the affected regions for the past three days. He continued to visit the people who are impacted due to the rains for the fourth day. KTR visited several localities in Rajendranagar that is badly impacted because of the rains and the floods.

KTR said that the loss of lives due to the recent rains is unfortunate and the government of Telangana is taking all the measures to avoid the flooding of the colonies. KTR said that the government is in plans to ensure that such incidents would not repeat again. The government is taking the relief activities after the water levels reducing all over. Ration kits, medicines along with blankets are distributed for the needy in the rain-affected regions. KTR directed the officials of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to take up the sanitation and fogging activities in the regions that are impacted due to the rains.

KTR asked the officials to make sure that no communicable diseases would be spread in this season. KTR directed the Revenue officials to clear all the structures in the lake FTL region in Gaganpahad. The restoration works would be initiated through the irrigation department officials.
