Dubbaka By-polls: Rs 1 Cr Seized from the Relative of BJP Candidate:- All the political parties of Telangana took the Dubbaka by-polls prestigiously and the Assembly election would take place tomorrow. The Hyderabad police seized Rs 1 crore unaccounted cash on Sunday from the relative of M Raghunandan Rao, the BJP candidate of the Dubbaka polls. Anjani Kumar, the Commissioner of Hyderabad said that the cash was taken to Dubbaka to distribute it to the voters and it was seized from Surabhi Srinivas Rao the brother-in-law of Raghunandan Rao. The cash was seized near to Begumpet flyover. Srinivas Rao told that the amount was received from G Vivek, a BJP leader and he said that he received the amount from the manager of Vishaka Industries Ltd.

The operation was conducted jointly by Begumpet police along with North Zone Task Force. Srinivas Rao and his driver Ravi Kumar were arrested in the case. The cops also seized two mobile phones and a case was registered. The investigation about the incident is currently going on. The election campaign came to an end yesterday and the cash was being taken to distribute to the voters last evening in Siddipet district. Six days ago, Rs 18.67 lakhs was seized from the relative's house of Raghunandan Rao and it created a sensation. There was a huge highdrama and several BJP leaders reached Raghunandan Rao. BJP alleged that the cops planted the money in the house and some of the BJP leaders were arrested which created tensed situations in the constituency. The Dubbaka by-polls will take place tomorrow.
