Telangana Government Plans to push Greater Hyderabad Polls to 2021:- The recent rains left a massive impact on the people and the government of Telangana is facing the heat from the people. The Telangana government was well prepared for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls but with the latest situations completely worrying, the government of Telangana is not in a mood to go with the polls. The Telangana State Election Commissioner Pardasarathi announced that the notification of GHMC polls would arrive anytime after the mid of November. The circles of TRS are not confident about the victory in the Dubbaka bypolls and they are worried that the result would have an impact on the GHMC polls.
Several colonies in the limits of GHMC are submerged because of the recent rains and the people from these colonies are quite angry on the government. Telangana Chief Minister KCR announced an immediate fund of Rs 10,000 per house but most of them are yet to receive the compensation. The corporators and the local leaders faced the heat from the people and all these mounted the pressure on the government of Telangana. Hence, the government of Telangana is in plans to push the GHMC polls to next year and conduct them once things settle down. The roads are badly damaged and the Telangana minister KTR ordered the officials to get the repairs of the roads done. The Telangana government is in plans to push the GHMC polls in February next year. The final call would be taken by the government after the results of the Dubbaka polls are out.
