TRS Keen To Retain GHMC In The Upcoming Polls:- The recent defeat of TRS in the Dubbaka bypolls is leaving the party, leaders and the cadre sleepless. Telangana Chief Minister KCR decided to go ahead for the fight in the upcoming GHMC polls. The schedule is announced yesterday and the polls will take place on December 1st and the counting will take place on December 4th. KCR took the polls prestigiously and planned a high-level meeting that will take place today afternoon. All the TRS legislators, ministers and leaders would be present for the meeting.
KCR will order the MLAs and MPs to take care as per the divisions of GHMC. KCR wants the leaders to go into the people explaining about the development and welfare activities taken up by the government of Telangana. The leaders will also explain about the financial assistance provided for the people who are impacted by the Hyderabad floods. KCR wants all the legislators and MPs to stay focused on the GHMC polls and tour up in all the 150 divisions of the GHMC accordingly. KTR will be heading the team and would instruct the officials and leaders about how to plan the tours.
Janasena, TDP, BJP and Congress would be contesting in the polls without any alliances. Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan yesterday made it clear that Janasena would contest in the GHMC polls without joining hands with BJP. TDP too made it clear that they would contest without any support in all the divisions. The nomination process for the GHMC polls starts today and all the parties are busy finalizing the candidates and announce them at the earliest.
