Maharashtra to Suspend Flight and Train Operations to Delhi:- Maharashtra is one of the most impacted states in the country due to coronavirus. The wave of coronavirus cases is slowly coming down from the past few weeks which is a great sign. After the experts warned of a second wave of cases, all the state governments are quite concerned and are focused. The government of Maharashtra is in plans to suspend the flight and train operations to and from Delhi after the number of cases saw a rise in the national capital. The Maharashtra government has been toying with several plans to get things under control.

The state government has been working on several ideas to curb the spread of the virus in the state. Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar told this and the final decision would be taken by the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray soon. Several high-level meetings took place recently in Mumbai to discuss about the steps to be taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus which is now coming to a control. The total number of coronavirus cases in Maharashtra reached 17,68,695 in total till date and the death toll stands at 46,511. New Delhi witnessed a huge rise in the number of cases from the past ten days. 6608 cases are reported in Delhi yesterday. Considering the winter season, Delhi is expected to witness a huge rise in the cases in the coming future.
