GHMC Polls: Shocking Percentage Polled Says Preliminary Reports:- All the political parties of Telangana campaigned extensively and took the GHMC polls prestigiously. TRS and BJP headed for a tough fight and several unexpected incidents along with a war of words were exchanged during the election campaign. The election took place today in 150 divisions of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and everyone expected that the percentage of polling would be huge. By 3 PM, the percentage was slightly above 25 percent and by 5 PM it crossed 35 percent. The preliminary reports say that the final polling percentage is below 40 percent. It was 42 percent in the last GHMC polls.

This time it is quite low and it is a rude shock for sure. The results of the GHMC polls would be out on December 4th. There is repolling to be conducted in some of the divisions because of which the exit polls are yet to be announced. Despite of the requests from the politicians, leaders and the celebrities, the voting percentage remained quite low across GHMC. Some of the reports said that a few polling booths received less than 10 percent of the voting by the end of the day. The final percentage would be known by late night as the polling is going on for coronavirus affected people.
