Farmer Protests: All Key Routes To Delhi Closed:- The farmers of Punjab and Haryana have been protesting against the new farm law and thousands of them reached the national capital borders where they are restricted. The protests continued on the seventh day and thousands of them are staged at the borders after the second round of talks are happening between the Centre and the farmers blocked the borders of the national capital from the last couple of days. The farmers intensified the protests and all the roads leading to New Delhi are now closed. The cops today closed the two national highways connecting Delhi to Ghaziabad.

The farmers revealed that all the roads would be blocked from tomorrow if the talks are not successful and if their demands are not met. 35 farmer groups met the Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and this is the fourth round of talks with the farmers. Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh met Home Minister Amit Shah today and he appealed the Centre to resolve the issue at the earliest. A farmer from Bathinda died of a heart attack at the Tikri border this morning and he is the sixth farmer to die after the farmers staged protests.

The farmer leaders refused to take the lunch offered by the government during the meeting and they prefered to eat the food arranged by the farmers at the Singhu border.
