Coronavirus Monday Indian Tally Reaches An All-Time Low:- The cases of coronavirus in India are slowly sliding down in the country. A total number of 26,567 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours in India taking the total number of cases to 97 lakhs. This is the 32nd day in which India reported less than 50,000 cases per day. The total number of active cases in the country stands at 3,83,866 and 91,78,946 people recovered completely from coronavirus in India. 39,045 people recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the country.
As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total number of tests conducted in the country stands at 14,77,87,656 and a total number of 8,01,081 tests are conducted yesterday. 385 people passed away in the country in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus. USA continues to be on the top of the list among the most impacted countries of the globe due to coronavirus with 14.94 million infections. India stands second with 9.70 million infections. There are talks that Serum Institute of India is in plans to sign a contract with the Indian government to deliver a dose of coronavirus vaccine at Rs 250.
Serum Institute of India will distribute the vaccine to the Indians after which they would supply for other countries. A 90-year-old grandmother named Margaret Keenan is the first person in the world from the United Kingdom to receive Pfizer coronavirus vaccine outside the trial. She received the dose on Tuesday morning in Coventry, central England at 6:31 GMT.
