KCR Urges Amit Shah On Flood Relief Funds:- Hyderabad was shattered because of the recent rains and several colonies are left flooded for days. Telangana government announced an immediate fund of Rs 550 crores and the funds were released partially. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao urged the Centre and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the immediate relief fund of Rs 1350 crores. KCR is now touring in New Delhi and is meeting various national leaders. KCR met Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Jal Shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat last evening.

There are talks that KCR will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. He urged Amit Shah to release the Disaster Management funds of Rs 1350 for the state. There were several other topics discussed with Amit Shah during the meeting. KCR even submitted a report for the same. KCR also met Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and he discussed about the increase in lifting capacity of Kaleshwaram project from 2 TMC to 3 TMC per day. The discussion about the irrigation projects happened. The Centre announced conditions through Krishna River Management Board and asked AP, Telangana to submit detailed reports to get the clearance from the Apex Council that is headed by Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. KCR is also expected to bring to the notice of the Prime Minister about the flood relief fund for Telangana.
