YS Jagan's Crucial Delhi Tour:- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy will fly off to the national capital New Delhi this evening and some crucial meetings are scheduled. The tour gained prominence as YS Jagan is heading to New Delhi two days after the Telangana Chief Minister KCR toured in New Delhi and met crucial leaders along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. YS Jagan will leave to New Delhi this evening and he will have a meeting scheduled with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He will soon visit Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the meeting is scheduled to happen tomorrow. Several pending issues for the state would come for discussion in these meetings.
YS Jagan will discuss about the pending funds for Polavaram project and he will urge Amit Shah to accept the revised estimates that are increased for the Polavaram project. Andhra Pradesh Irrigation Minister Anil Kumar Yadav already submitted the revised proposal to the Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekawat recently. YS Jagan is keen to discuss about the relief fund for the families that are affected due to cyclone Nivar. He will seek the approval for the Rayalaseema lift irrigation project that is proposed and pending for a long time. The water issues are not resolved for a long time between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
YS Jagan is also in plans to discuss about these pending issues with Amit Shah and Narendra Modi. The Centre asked the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to come up with detailed reports before the Apex Council meeting to take the final calls.
