Farmers Protest: Centre To Resume Talks On Tuesday:- The farmers across the country are protesting against the three farm laws that are introduced by the Centre. The farmers of Punjab and Haryana stages protests across the New Delhi border. They met the Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar several times and the talks were not successful. The Farmer Unions also met the Home Minister Amit Shah but they were not satisfied with the amendments. The protests completed one month and the farmers are yet to take a step back. The Centre decided to initiate the talks once again with the farmers to resolve the issue.

As per the update, The Centre decided to resume the talks on Tuesday on December 29th at 11 AM. Five rounds of talks failed already and the farmers are demanding a legal guarantee for the Minimum Support Price for their crops. The Sanyukt Kisan Morcha, the body for 40 farmer organizations called it a propaganda. The farmers camped on the roads and it has been a month since the protests started. Thousands are sleeping on the roads in this chilling weather conditions. The Centre expected the protests would be weakened but the farmers are firm on their stand.
