Coronavirus Indian Tally Jumps By 7 Percent:- The cases of coronavirus are coming to a new normal of all time low in the country after the wave reached all time high in September and October. A total number of 20,021 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours taking the total number of cases to 1,02,07,871. The total number of recoveries in the country are said to be 97,82,669 and 21,131 people recovered completely from coronavirus. There are 2,77,301 active cases of coronavirus in total and the total deaths in India stands at 1,47,901. The active number of cases remained below 3 lakh mark for the seventh consecutive day in the country.

279 people passed away in the country in the last 24 hours in India. A two-day dry run for the vaccine for coronavirus programme starts today in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab and Assam. The Indian government is in plans to cover 30 crore people in the first phase after the vaccine rolls. The total samples tested in the country till date are said to be 16,88,18,054 and a total number of 7,15,397 samples are tested yesterday alone as per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

The Centre is extra cautious about the new strain of coronavirus that emerged in the United Kingdom. The flights are suspended from the UK and all those who returned back from the United Kingdom are traced and tests are conducted. New Year celebrations are canceled in all the parts of the country after experts warned of a second wave. Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat was shifted to AIIMS, New Delhi after he complained of fever and chest infection.
