India Reports 9121 New Coronavirus Cases:- With 9121 new cases of coronavirus in the country, the total tally of cases reached 1,09,25,710. The death tally in India is at 1,55,813 and the total number of discharged patients in the country are 1,06,33,025. The number of active cases of coronavirus are said to be 1,36,872. A total number of 11,805 people got discharged from coronavirus in the last 24 hours as per the reports coming from the Union Health Ministry. Around 85 lakh healthcare workers are vaccinated for coronavirus in India till date and the recovery rate in the country stands at 97.32 percent. Around 10.91 crore people are tested positive for coronavirus in the world and the death tally is at 24.07 lakhs.

As per the reports coming, fourteen states along with the Indian union territories vaccinated more than 70 percent of the registered healthcare workers in the country. They are Bihar, Lakshadweep, Tripura, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Kerala, Rajasthan, Mizoram and Sikkim. The other states Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh, Nagaland and Puducherry reported less than 40 percent of the vaccinations for healthcare workers. Maharashtra reported 4092 new cases of coronavirus and the situation is alarming in the state. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar conducted a review meeting after several districts reported huge number of cases.
