Indian coronavirus daily tally at 2.76 lakhs:- A total number of 2,76,070 new cases for coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours and the total tally of cases in the country topped to 2,57,72,400. There are 3,69,077 discharges in the country in the last 24 hours as per the reports coming from the Union Health Ministry. With 3874 new deaths, the total number of deaths reported in India till date climbed to 2,87,122. The number of recoveries in the country are 2,23,55,440 and the number of active cases for coronavirus are said to be 31,29,878. The total number of Indians who took up the vaccination for coronavirus are 18,70,09,792. As per the data from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total number of samples tested for coronavirus in the last 24 hours are 20,55,010 and the samples tested till date in India are 32,23,56,187.
The percentage of active cases is 12.14 percent as per the total reported cases in India. The recovery rate of India reached 86.74 percent and it is improving on a slower note and the fatality rate is 1.11 percent. The Indian Railways delivered close to 11,800 tonnes of liquid medical oxygen across the country through 727 tankers and 196 oxygen express trains. Andhra Pradesh government placed orders to purchase 15,000 vials of Amphotericin B injections to treat black fungus which is shaking the nation. Central government's principal scientific adviser K VijayRaghavan today said that the aerosols that are said to be the key transmission for coronavirus can travel in air up to 10 meters.
