Indian coronavirus daily tally at 1.27 lakhs:- After reaching the peaks and reporting close to 4 lakh cases per day, the number of new cases saw a decline in the recent week. A total number of 1,27,510 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours. The total caseload stands at 2,81,75,044 and the total number of people who got discharged from coronavirus are 2,59,47,629. With 2795 new deaths in the country, the total number of deaths reported in India till date are said to be 3,31,895. The number of active cases in the country dropped down further and are at 18,95,520. A total number of 2,55,287 people recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The total number of people who took the vaccination shot for coronavirus reached 21,60,46,638.

A new batch of 30 lakh doses of Sputnik V vaccine arrived India and they are moved to 7 locations. The Centre said that the Indian states and Union Territories have 1.57 crore doses available. Maharashtra reported 500 deaths and Tamil Nadu witnessed 478 new deaths in the last 24 hours. The Indian recovery rate reached 92.09 percent. Indian coronavirus tally is the lowest in the last 54 days and the states continued to impose lockdown in the respective states.
