51,667 new coronavirus cases reported in India:- A total number of 51,667 new cases for coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours in India as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The total number of cases in the country reached 3,01,34,445. With 64,527 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the total number of people who recovered from coronavirus are said to be 2,91,28,267. 1329 people passed away in the last 24 hours taking the total death toll in the country to 3,93,310. There are 6,12,868 active cases for coronavirus in India as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The total number of people who took the vaccination doses for coronavirus are said to be 30,79,48,744.

Indian SARS-CoV-2 Genomic Consortia (INSACOG) will hold a meeting to discuss about the spread of Delta plus variant today. The recovery rate in the country improved by 96.61 percent. There are 2.03 percent active cases in the country when compared to the total reported tally of cases in India. The weekly positive rated declined to 3 percent. The Health Ministry is currently investigating about the transmissibility of Delta Plus variant after the traces are found in various states of the country. Supreme Court oxygen audit team said that the Delhi government exaggerated the oxygen requirement by four times during the second wave of coronavirus.
