KCR slams opposition on Dalita Bandhu allegations:- The state cabinet of Telangana decided to deposit Rs 10 lakhs into the bank accounts of dalits across the state and the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) decided to start the program from Huzurabad ahead of the bypolls. KCR slammed the opposition parties who criticised the move of the TRS government. The opposition parties made comments that KCR is starting this considering the Huzurabad bypolls in mind. KCR made some strong comments while addressing a meeting in Pragati Bhavan last evening in Hyderabad. Padi Kaushik Reddy, the former Congress leader from Huzurabad joined TRS in the presence of KCR.
Speaking about Dalit Bandhu, KCR said "There's nothing wrong in it. Every party wants to gain votes in the democracy and retain the power. TRS is a proper political party which worked for the formation and development of Telangana. It is not a party with Sanyasis and we are not living in the Himalayas. As a ruling party, we will have certain advantages. Dalit Bandhu is announced considering the dalits in the state and stand as a support for them. Victories and defeats are common in politics. This is democracy and not monarchy. No party will stay in power forever. Karimnagar district has been a sentiment for me from the years. Hence, I decided to launch Dalit Bandhu from Huzurabad. Rythu Bima and Rythu Bandhu too are launched from the same district" told KCR.
