46,759 New Coronavirus Cases Reported In India:- The cases in the country are slowly increasing on a phased manner. Kerala continues to top the list and the state alone reported 70 percent of the country's total tally. A total number of 46,759 new cases are reported in India as per the data released by the Union Health Ministry. The total number of cases reached 3,26,49,947. 31,374 people recovered in India in the last 24 hours and the total number of recoveries reached 3,18,52,802. 509 people passed away in India taking the total death tally to 4,37,370. There are 3,59,775 active cases of coronavirus in India for now. The total number of vaccines administered in India are 62,29,89,134 and the Indian government-administered 1,03,35,290 vaccine doses yesterday.

This is the first time, more than one crore vaccine doses are administered in India. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the momentous feat Kerala reported 32,801 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours along with 179 deaths. There is a rise in the number of active cases of coronavirus and Kerala has 1.95 lakh active cases of coronavirus. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples tested for coronavirus on August 27th are said to be 17,61,110 and the samples tested in total till date in India are said to be 51,68,87,602.
