18,346 New Coronavirus Cases Reported In India:- A total number of 18,346 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours. The cases are the lowest in the last 209 days. The active caseload was around 4 lakhs in the first week of September and they came down now. The active cases of coronavirus in the country are now said to be 2,52,902. The recovery rate is also the highest in the country and it is now at 97.93 percent. As per the reports from the Union Health Ministry, Kerala reported 8850 new cases in the last 24 hours. 149 new deaths are reported in Kerala in the last 24 hours. The total number of recoveries in India are 3,31,50,886 and the death toll in the country is said to be 4,49,260.

The total number of vaccination doses administered in India are 91,54,65,826 and 72,51,419 doses are given for people in the last 24 hours. More than 6.73 crore doses of coronavirus vaccines are left with the states and the union territories told the Union Health Ministry. The total tally of coronavirus cases in the country reached 3,38,53,048. Kerala continued to contribute more than 60 percent of the total cases in the country. The government of Maharashtra imposed a ten-day lockdown in 61 villages ahead of the festive season. The Indian government is expected to release the new guidelines for the coronavirus vaccine for children next week. More than 70 percent of the eligible Indians received at least one dose of coronavirus vaccine dose. As per the reports coming from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples that are tested for coronavirus on October 4th are said to be 11,41,642 and the samples tested in total are said to be 57,53,94,042.
