Indian Coronavirus Cases Drop by 37 percent in 10 Days:- The Indian daily tally of coronavirus have been fluctuating between 30000 and 40000 from the past couple of months though the second wave of the pandemic calmed down. The wave of cases came down eventually and the new case tally is between 15k and 20k. The cases came down from 22,842 to 14,313 in the last ten days which is a drop of 37 percent in the new daily tally of coronavirus cases. 22,842 new cases of coronavirus are reported on October 2nd and they came down to 14,313 yesterday. Though there was a slight rise in the new cases, they again came down during the weekend. A total number of 15,823 new cases are reported in the last 24 hours and the total Indian tally of cases reached 3,40,01,743.

The active cases in the country came down to 2,14,900 and this is the lowest since March 2020. The daily tally of new cases went high to more than 4 lakhs in May this year after the second wave of the pandemic hit the nation. Around 49.7 percent of the Indians received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine and 19.5 percent of the eligible Indians received both the vaccination doses. Though the experts predicted that the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic will hit the country in October, there were no such signs. The new predictions say that the new wave of coronavirus will hit the country in January next year and it would reach the peaks in March 2022. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples that are tested yesterday are said to be 13,25,399 and the total samples tested in the nation till date are 58,63,63,442.
