KCR Re-Elected As TRS President:- All eyes are focused on the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) plenary meeting that is held today in Hitex Convention Centre and grand arrangements are being made currently. The plenary of TRS is happening after three years and this year it is quite special as TRS completes 20 years. The plenary will have the attendance of all the leaders, MLAs, MPs and MLCs. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been reelected as the President of TRS and the plenary commenced with the election of KCR unanimously. KCR is the President for the tenth term after the party was floated in 2001. As no other leader filed a nomination, the party elected him as the boss unanimously.
The party leaders filed 18 sets of nominations on behalf of KCR from ministers, MLAs, MPs and MLCs. More than 6000 party leaders and supporters are invited for the plenary. The entire city is painted with pink ahead of the plenary. Hoardings, flags and flexies are set up across Hyderabad in all the major junctions. KCR and KTR are showcased in these hoardings and flexies. KTR will continue as the Working President of TRS and the party took the Huzurabad bypoll prestigiously which will take place on October 30th after the resignation of Etala Rajendar. He was sacked from the post of Telangana's Health Minister after which he submitted his resignation as Legislator and from TRS. He joined BJP and is campaigning across the constituency.
