Telangana Govt to Agitate against Centre over Paddy Issue:- The government of Telangana is focused on the welfare of the farmers. Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) is in plans to stage protests across the state against the Centre's decision on procuring the paddy. Telangana Chief Minister KCR recently made some sensational comments against the Centre. He demanded the Centre to procure the paddy from the farmers in the Kharif and rabi season. He asked the leaders, MLAs, MPs, MLCs and other supporters of TRS to stage protests and sit on Dharna on Friday in their respective constituencies for three hours from 10 AM to 1 PM. The Food Corporation of India decided to discontinue the procurement of parboiled rice that is grown in Telangana during the rabi season.

Several massive agitation programs are conducted by TRS and the leaders in the past. They also supported the Farmers Protest that took place last year. All the arrangements are being made in all the constituencies and KCR wanted all the leaders to be present for the agitation. All the MLAs and MPs of Hyderabad will protest at the Indira Park in the city. KCR too will participate in the protest as per the update. Ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Mahmood Ali and leaders Danam Nagendar, Kaleru Venkatesh, Muta Gopal and others will be present. Telangana IT Minister and TRS Working President KTR conducted a review meeting about the arrangements with the party leaders across the state. He asked the leaders to acquire prior permission from the district collectors for the protests.
