Narendra Modi launches Purvanchal Expressway:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Purvanchal Expressway in Uttar Pradesh this morning. He landed in an Air Force's C-130 Super Hercules transport aircraft. He was welcomed by Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The Purvanchal Expressway will travel through eight major districts of Uttar Pradesh including the major cities Lucknow, Ghazipur and Amethi. Purvanchal Expressway will also connect Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Allahabad and Ayodhya through the link roads. After the inauguration, Narendra Modi witnessed the grand airshow on the highway.

Narendra Modi during his speech staged an attack on the previous government saying that they were not focused on the development of Uttar Pradesh. He said that the country's security is of utmost importance and is the first priority. "Purvanchal Expressway is one more power for the Indian Air Force when it comes to an emergency. Our Indian Fighter plans will land on the expressway very soon. I was wondered about the situation in Uttar Pradesh 7-8 years ago. The state gave me an opportunity in 2014 and I started the development works for the state" told Narendra Modi. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told that Modi is the Karmayogi for the development of the state.
