Andhra Pradesh Farmers Continue To Protest For Amaravati:- The government of Andhra Pradesh has been strict on its stand of the three capital move despite receiving so much criticism and heat. Several cases are filed and the High Court stalled the plans of the AP government. The government announced that they have stalled the plans of three capitals and Amaravati will continue to be the capital of Andhra Pradesh. The farmers of Amaravati have been protesting against the government from the past one year ever since the three capital plan was announced. Even after the AP government announced of stalling the plan, the farmers of Amaravati continued their protests.

The farmers are not surprised by the announcement made by the Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. AP Assembly passed Andhra Pradesh Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of all Regions Repeal Bill 2021 that has Andhra Pradesh Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of all Regions Act 2020 and the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority Repeal Act 2020 Act. The farmers of Amaravati are not in a mood to believe the stand of AP government and they decided to continue their protests. Several petitions are filed and the government backed out from their plans for now. Amaravati farmers believe that YS Jagan is not focused on the capital and he wishes to focus on some other regions. Amaravati farmers from 29 villages gave 33,000 acres of land for the development of the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
