48 Medicos Tested Positive In Karimnagar For Coronavirus:- In a shocking revelation, around 48 medical college students are tested positive for coronavirus in Karimnagar. The incident is reported at the Chalmeda Anand Rao Institute of Medical Sciences in Bommakal village. on Sunday. This is said to be the single biggest outbreak in the state after the second wave of the pandemic. The students along with the staff celebrated the annual day a week ago and several students are now tested positive for coronavirus. District Medical and Health Officer Dr Juveria confirmed that 46 students are tested positive among the 200 students who undertook the tests for Covid-19.
A special medical camp is arranged today after several students are tested positive. All the staff members and the students will take up coronavirus tests. All the students who are tested positive are shifted to isolation wards arranged. The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences who overlooks the functioning of the private medical colleges in Telangana disclosed that there is no information about the annual day celebrations in Chalmeda Anand Rao Institute of Medical Sciences. The Telangana Health Department asked the people to be extra cautious and asked them to wear facemasks when they are in the public. The department predicts that the new cases of coronavirus may get increased in January and reach peaks in February next year.
