Rs 2.70 lakh crore spent for Agriculture says KTR:- KT Rama Rao, the Working President of TRS said that the government of Telangana has spent Rs 2.70 lakh crores on the field of agriculture and its allied sectors after the state was formed in 2014. KTR interacted with the media personnel and he said that Rs 50,000 crore is spent on Rythu Bandhu scheme till date. He called BJP leaders as political tourists and he challenged BJP, Congress leaders for an open debate on this issue. He also said that Rs 3000 crores has been spent on Rythu Bhima, Rs 41,786 crores has been spent on 24*7 free power for agriculture and Rs 19,000 crores are spent on the crop loan waiver scheme.

"Rs 1.16 lakh crore are spent on the field of irrigation, Rs 951 crores on farm mechanization, Rs 750 crores on Rythu Kallam, Rs 5000 crores on sheep distribution scheme, Rs 20,000 crore on the distribution of the fishlings and "Rs 2000 crores on dairy sector. I ask BJP and Congress to come for an open debate on this. If they have guts, they have to come with the figures and facts about the money spent on the agriculture and the allied sectors. Telangana is at the doorstep of achieving a revolution in the fields of green (agriculture), pink (meat), white (dairy), blue (fish) and plant (Haritha Haaram). All those who own farmlands are getting benefited through the scheme" told KTR.
