KCR slams BJP for the Fertilizer Price Hike:- The Telangana government has been fighting against the Centre after they deferred about purchasing the paddy in the state. Telangana Chief Minister KCR asked the leaders and supporters of TRS to protest against the BJP for their move. KCR asked the BJP to save farmers who are in stress. He said that the people would root out the government in all the states as it is weakening the rural economy. BJP has been keen to hand over the agriculture sector to the corporates alleged KCR. He said that the Centre increased the prices of fertilizers badly and pushed the sector of agriculture into crisis. KCR's office issued a press release about the same.
"The Centre removed the subsidies on fertilizers and the situation turned worse for the farmers and they are left with no options but to take up their ploughs and revolt against the Centre that is ruled by BJP. Its time for the farmers to confront BJP on this issue and he hinted about nationwide agitations against the Centre. The farming community in Telangana should expose the conspiracy of BJP so that the Centre will withdraw the hike in the prices of the fertilizers. The Centre made some strong promises about doubling the income of the farmers by 2022 but this never happened. BJP government is completely against the farmers" told KCR.
