Indian Covid-19 tally dips to 2 lakh mark:- As predicted the third wave of the coronavirus is not making much impact in the country. The wave of the daily tally crossed the 3 lakh mark last week but they dipped down in this week. After reporting close to 2.5 lakh cases on a daily basis, the Sunday tally reported in the country is just above the 2 lakh mark. A total number of 2,09,918 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours. 2,62,628 people recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours in India and the total doses of coronavirus vaccinations administered in the country are said to be 1,66,03,96,227. The daily positivity rate stands at 15.77 percent in India.

There are 18,31,268 active cases of coronavirus in the country and the percentage is 4.43 when compared to the total tally of the reported cases in the country. 959 people passed away in the country in a single day which is huge and the total death toll climbed to 4,95,050. The total cases reported for coronavirus in India in total are 4,13,02,440 and there are 3,89,76,122 recoveries in India till date. When it comes to the global tally, the total number of cases for coronavirus reported are said to be 37,43,26,707 and the deaths are 56,62,721. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his speech on Sunday revealed that the vaccination drive (both the doses) for the adults crossed 75 percent mark and it would soon touch 100 percent in India.
