KCR inaugurates Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Yadadri:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) inaugurated the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district. The temple is located at 80 km from Hyderabad and it has been under renovation from the past four years. The government of Telangana spent Rs 1800 crores on the renovation of this ancient temple. Tight security has been imposed in the temple premises and the entire leadership of TRS is present for the event. The gopuram of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple is covered with 125 kg of gold and Smart Creations based in Chennai completed the coating and offered a warranty of 50 years.

The work of gold plating commenced in 2020 and it was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Special pooja is performed at the temple today by KCR and his family members. Thousands of priests are present for the inauguration of the prestigious Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Yadadri. Maha Sudarshan Yaga is performed in the temple premises. The yaga is performed in 100 acres of yagna vatiak with 1048 yagna kundals. KCR invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with other crucial national leaders but none of them were present. TRS leaders, MLAs, MPs and other officials are present for the inauguration of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Yadadri.
