CBI's fresh corruption case against Lalu Prasad Yadav:- Senior politician and Bihar ex-Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav has been facing charges of corruption and he was granted bail in the fodder scam case. Weeks after he was granted bail, Lalu Prasad Yadav was charged in a new corruption case. The case is all about the irregularities in Railyway recruitment between 2004 and 2009 when Lalu Prasad Yadav worked as the Railway Minister. Apart from him, his family members were also named in the case. The officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) started searches in 15 locations which are linked to the Rashtriya Janata Dal patriarch which also includes his residences.

Lalu Prasad Yadav is aged 73 and he walked out of jail last month after the Jharkhand High Court granted bail in Rs 139 crore Doranda Treasury scam case. A special CBI court sentenced five years jail for Lalu Prasad Yadav and he was fined Rs 60 lakhs. CBI started raids early this morning which came as a huge shock for Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family members. The visuals showed the cops along with the officials approaching the Patna residence of Lalu Prasad Yadav and his wife. Rabri Devi, the wife of Lalu Prasad Yadav too was named in the case. Lalu Prasad Yadav has been facing allegations of corruption from the past few years.
