Rs 2500 Cr for Elevated Bus route from KPHB to Kokapet:- Telangana's Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao announced a 29 km Elevated Bus Route from KPHB Metro station to Kokapet Neopolis and this would cost Rs 2500 crores. The project will start this year after it gets an approval from the state cabinet. KTR announced that the same during the MA and UD Annual Report Meet for 2021-22. KTR said that the government of Telangana has invested a bomb on the development of the roads in the state. He said that the government is progressive in the urban land policies and initiatives. KTR also said that the number of municipalities in the state went up from 69 to 142 from 2014 till date.

"The government of Telangana provided a financial assistance of Rs 2062 crores under the Pattana Pragathi program and the infrastructure, sanitation has been increased all over. All the measures will be taken to avoid flooding In Hyderabad this year. The city witnessed massive floods in 2020 and we have to taken measures under Strategic Nala Development Programme. The preparations commenced in February and safety audits are being conducted in the limits of GHMC along with other urban local bodies. We are quite satisfied with the SRDP works that are executed. The works are yet to be completed and we are predicting that there would be no flooding in the state" told KTR.
