Covid-19 Deaths Rare In Children:- The Covid-19 pandemic created a scare across the mankind. Crores of people lost their family members who are the major earning people. After some time, the virus also impacted the children that scared the parents. A recent research that was conducted for 22 months in the United Kingdom found that the deaths due to coronavirus in children are very rare. They are usually associated with comorbidities or underlying conditions. The study conducted a detailed analysis on the deaths in children between March 2020 and December 2021. The researchers worked with the UK's Health Security agency which is a government one. University of London, Public Health England, and the NHS Foundation Trust conducted the research.

The data from Active Prospective National Surveillance in England was taken from March 2020 to December 2021. 185 children and young people passed away during the period who are aged below 20 and are tested positive for coronavirus. Out of these, 43.8 percent (81 deaths) happened due to Coronavirus told the study. All the deaths that occurred within 100 days after they are tested positive are considered for the study. Half of the deaths took place within seven days after the children are tested positive for coronavirus and 91 percent happened in 30 days. Among the coronavirus deaths, 75.3 percent of them have been suffering with an underlying condition. The authors confirmed that the coronavirus death is rare in children.
