Three Capital Discussions Back In Andhra Pradesh:- After TDP lost power in Andhra Pradesh, the ruling YSRCP ignored the new capital Amaravati. Thousands of farmers who donated their lands for the capital stages protests for more than a year. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy announced that the state would have three capitals: Amaravati, Vizag and Kurnool. There were lot of cases filed against the three capital move and the plans were kept on hold. YS Jagan wanted to shift the entire governance to Vizag and the arrangements for the same were made. But the process was delayed several times. For time being, the people and the politicians too forgot about the new capital.
Andhra Pradesh government has not commenced any development activities in Amaravati. AP Minister Gudivada Amarnath announced that the three capital process will be implemented before the elections. He said that the discussion about the same will happen in the next cabinet meeting that is scheduled to take place this month. He said that the government has been implementing all the promises made before the elections. He said that the state turned out to be the new hub for the pharma industry of the country. He also said that the government is keen to implement the three capital rule in the state.
