Bengaluru Flooded: City On High Alert:- India's IT Hub Bengaluru received heavy rainfall and all the low-lying regions of the city were drowned and waterlogged. Heavy rains lashed out the city and the electricity supply, drinking water supply are hit in most of the regions. The city was filled with water for two days and the normal life is badly hit. Two lakes Bellandur and Yelmur are overflowing and the city is left drowned. High-end residential properties near these lakes are completely drowned and social media is filled with videos of the drowned city. Going with the happenings, it would take a long time for the city to recover completely.

The Meteorological Centre in Bengaluru announced that there would be more rains in Bengaluru today and tomorrow. Belagavi, Bagalkote, Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Chickbalapura and Kolar districts will receive heavy rainfall told the forecast. E-commerce companies are facing severe challenges and the deliveries are badly delayed. Sarjapura, Bellandur, Varthur, Whitefield and Outer Ring Road are badly impacted from Bengaluru. Some of the e-commerce companies suspended their services for now. The Indian Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert in Bengaluru for the next five days.

The schools and colleges will remain shut for the next two days in the city. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the government is prepared and they are expecting a fair compensation from the Centre. Bengaluru South Lok Sabha member Tejasvi Surya was trolled as he was missing at a tough time. His video of having dosa is circulated and he is trolled.
