Munugode Bypoll to take place in November:- The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is keen and focused on the Munugode bypoll. Even parties like BJP and Congress are keen on the bypoll and are campaigning over the constituency even before the Election Commission is yet to issue the official notification date of the bypoll. Telangana Chief Minister and TRS Chief KCR predicts that the Munugode bypoll will take place in November. He met the leaders of Nalgonda district in Pragathi Bhavan during which he made these comments. Minister Jagadeeshwar Reddy along with the party leaders and supporters participated in the meeting. KCR said that the notification for Munugode bypoll will be out in the first week of October. KCR wanted the leaders to promote the development activities that are introduced by TRS.
TRS is planning a week-long mass lunch program across the constituency. Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy won in Munugoe in 2018 and he called it a quit by joining BJP in August. Several ministers, MLAs and party leaders will have lunch with the people of Munugode for a week in each mandal. They will review the welfare programs that are introduced by the TRS. Thousands of people from each mandal are invited for lunch. The days are locked as Chandur (September 21st), Narayanpur (September 22nd), Marriguda (September 23rd), Munugode (September 24th) and Nampally (September 26th). BJP leadership too took the Munugode bypoll prestigiously and the national leaders are participating in the campaign. TRS and BJP exchanged words several times in the recent times. BJP is backing Rajagopal Reddy in the bypoll and TRS is yet to announce their candidate.
