BRS is now a Pan-Indian Party says KTR:- Telangana Rastra Samiti (TRS) is now renamed into Bharat Rastra Samiti (BRS) and the big announcement was made on the eve of Dasara on October 5th. KCR will be quite active in the national politics and KTR, Harish Rao will take care of the Telangana politics. BRS will now focus on the Lok Sabha polls in 2024 across the nation than on the Assembly polls that will be conducted next year in Telangana. KTR called BRS a pan-Indian party and he expressed his confidence that the party will soon get the needed national recognition from the Election Commission of India (ECI). KTR also expressed his confidence of winning the required number of seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. KTR also claimed that the Centre is monitoring his phone through Pegasus spyware and ten thousand phones are tapped from Telangana.

"BRS will also focus on Maharashtra and Karnataka soon. There is a huge demand for the welfare schemes that are introduced by the government of Telangana. The opposition claims that our party lost the emotional connection in the state and this is untrue. Everyone knows about KCR in Andhra Pradesh too. BRS will take an appropriate decision about AP politics at the right time. The change of the name will not have any impact in Telangana. The people have known us for a while and the entire state is aware of the name change into BRS" told KTR. Former Munugode MLA Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy is named as the candidate of TRS for the Munugode bypoll. The election will take place on November 3rd.
