Kavitha slams BJP: Ready to go to jail:- From the past few days, Telangana Chief Minister KCR's daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha's name surfaced in the Delhi Liquor scam case. She made strong comments that she has no links with the scam and she hinted of a political conspiracy as she happens to be the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister. The Enforcement Directorate filed a charge sheet yesterday and Kavitha's name was included. The news created a sensation and the opposition parties slammed TRS. Kalvakuntla Kavitha today interacted with the media about the happenings and she slammed the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for leaking her reference in a court. Kalvakuntla Kavitha said that the move was done to damage her reputation.
Businessman Amit Arora was arrested this week in connection with the case and he is a key member of South Group. There are reports that the firm paid Rs 100 crores for the AAP leaders in New Delhi for the Liquor scam. Kalvakuntla Kavitha said that she is not afraid of being arrested and she is ready to go to jail if proved guilty. She said that the people are with TRS and she is not worried about the allegations. She reminded about the poaching of ruling leaders of TRS by BJP and it was their reaction. "Narendra Modi and his government toppled the elected governments in nine states by misusing the powers of agencies like CBI and ED. They are not working in Telangana. Even the kids are well aware about the acts of BJP" told Kalvakuntla Kavitha. Ahead of the Assembly elections in Telangana, Kalvakuntla Kavitha's allegations are sure a dent for the ruling TRS.
