Kavitha Questioned for over 7 hours in Delhi Liquor Scam Case:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's daughter and TRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has been named in the Delhi Liquor Scam case. She was summoned by the officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) recently and she could not attend before them because of her prior commitments. A six-member team of CBI officials including a woman officer landed in Hyderabad yesterday to question Kavitha in the liquor scam. They reached her Banjara Hills residence in the morning and the questioning went on for more than seven hours. Her statement was recorded in the presence of her legal counsel. She was questioned about the transactions and her association in the Delhi Liquor scam.

After completing the investigation, Kavitha headed to meet her father KCR in the Pragathi Bhavan last night. CPI demanded a live telecast of the investigation that was done by the CBI officials. Party National secretary Dr K. Narayana said that there was a conspiracy in the investigation. The opposition parties slammed Kavitha for her involvement in the issue. Telangana BJP president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar asked if KCR and his family cannot be questioned about the scams. He said that KCR and his family are the wealthiest family in the country. He said that the CBI officials are surprised with the granduer of the residence of Kavitha. CBI is yet to issue a statement about the questioning of Kavitha and there are reports that she may be questioned again.
