NinHydrin Test on YS Vivekananda Reddy's Letter:- CBI is taking some crucial steps on the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case as the deadline is nearing. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) want to conduct a ninhydrin test on YS Vivekananda Reddy’s suicide letter. There was a letter found on the site of YS Vivekananda Reddy's murder and CBI officials have asked CBI court to grant permission to undergo a test on the letter, where they can find the fingerprints. The letter found on the murder site purportedly reported that it was written by former MP YS Vievakanda Reddy. The letter was with blood stains and handwriting clear that the letter was written with clear pressure.
CBI has sent the letter to Central Forensic Lab(CFSL) in Delhi in 2021 for examination. They also have asked to conduct a ninhydrin test, where the test can likely damage the writing and ink on the letter during the examination. CBI asked the court to allow the ninhydrin test as they want to compare the fingerprints with the accused and they also asked the court to have a Xerox copy of a letter before conducting the test. CBI court has adjourned the hearing to June 2nd and we have to see what the court is going to decide.
